The History of ‘RespectZone Barriers’

Whilst working with the Rugby Football League, we were asked to develop a product which could be used on the touchline to erect a temporary technical area and respect line, so that the linesman and referee could manage this area within the game.
The product was developed, piloted and used extensively over 18 months and went through several product changes during this time. We acted upon feedback and pilot results to develop the design in order to make the product more durable, easy to use, competitive and safe.
The final product, which became the approved RFL Barrier System, helped launch a respect campaign within grass roots rugby and the feedback we received was extremely positive indeed.

Due to the high visible branding potential , we started to receive enquiries from a range of commercial users and sports operators for what was rapidly becoming a portable event barrier system

The Don’t X The Line Campaign and its founder Mal Lee were the first to pilot the Respect Zone Barrier within Football.

During this time we were starting to work with other governing bodies in sport which included The GAA, The FAI and The FA in England.

After working with the FA on their Respect Pilot we gained approval to become the official supplier to the FA Respect campaign, for which the Football Foundation ring-fenced £1m of investment towards the supply of RespectZone barriers, to all grass roots teams signing up to the FA Respect Programme.

Our RespectZone barriers can be used in many different sports and environments. If you have a requirement that you cannot see on this website , please contact us and we will be delighted to discuss these with you.
